Bel Coure 014 smallDr. Rami El-Farrah, Guest Artist and Clinician
Concert saxophonist Dr. Rami El-Farrah is best known for his work as a soloist and member of the Zenith Quintet, the Bel Cuore Quartet, and the Austin Saxophone Ensemble. He has won several awards as a soloist and chamber musician, performed across the United States and throughout Europe, and has been featured on several albums. In addition to concertizing, Dr. El-Farrah teaches saxophone at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he also leads a saxophone ensemble. Sax Pro Workshops director Dr. Sunil Gadgil is best known for his work as a soloist and chamber musician with REVEL Classical Band, the Bel Cuore Quartet, the Zenith Quintet, the Elision Saxophone Quartet, and the Austin Saxophone Ensemble. He has performed in Europe, Asia, and across North America and is a featured soloist on several CD releases. He currently serves as saxophone instructor at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and has taught saxophone, clarinet, chamber music, and music appreciation at Prairie View A&M University, The University of Texas at Austin, and in his private studio teaching young musicians. Dr. Gadgil is also a Vandoren Regional Artist. Dr. Gadgil is very excited about helping young saxophone artists find and hone their musical voices!
